Bangkok Rail - Getting around by Train

Not always useful for intercity travel the railways in Bangkok are still handy for travel from Don Muang Airport to Hua Lampong Central and places along the city outskirts.

Hua Lampong Station

The railway network throughout Thailand connects to Hua Lampong which is a vital transport hub for trains in Thailand. Save for the south west region just outside bangkok this is Bangkoks main train station.

Bangkok MRT has linked into the existing Hua Lompong Central station making it easier to transfer from intercity to long-distance travel. Previously your only realistic option (short of the fun way of biking it) was to take a taxi through the busy streets get to here.
