Highway 107

Directly north of Chiang Mai running north is highway 107.
It runs for about 160 kilometers and it passes through Mae Rim, Mae Taeng, Chiang Dao and Chai Prakan before ending at the town of Fang (where it becomes a by-pass). It's a good highway to use if you want to trailblaze up to the Mae Sai bordercrossing. It ends where the highway 1089 begins just beyond the town of Fang. This highway will then take you to Mae Chan and then it's just a case of rejoining Highway 1 for the final leg to Mae Sai.
