It's almost invisible, but there is a left turn here at these traffic lights that, if followed, make for a scenic route towards the Mae Sa Valley. Eventually concluding at a highway 1096 intersection.
The small market at Mae Rim is here, you'll have to either u-turn or cross using the overhead bridge to get to it.
Now you're getting into rural Thailand. Fuel stations are few and far between so ensure you've got plenty of fuel by this point.
The small village of Mae Malai is ahead. It's similar to Mae Rim but smaller and has the market on the left-hand side of the road as you head north. The rollover picture shows an interior shot I took a while back.
Ahead is the turn off onto highway 1095 towards Pai.
Bit of a long stretch now until the next point of civilisation, Chiang Dao is reached.
