Highway 1269

South-west of Chiang Mai is the highway 1269. It runs towards Sa Moeng in a general north-westerly direction. It also meets the Mae Sa Valley highway 1096 and can act as part of the Mae Sa Valley / Sa Moeng loop.

Road Lore: On a motorbike travelling at about 35-40 mph you should reach Sa Moeng in about an hour and a quarter.
