The Honda Phantom is popular with expats. It's light enough to be appealing to first-time riders and not a bad-looking machine. It's also affordable enough. Comfortable for long-range riding with options for upgrades.
The Phantom has some issues though. The stock tyres are not considered ideal for urban roads. The horn is too quiet. Some say the engine is underpowered for the weight and ought to be 250cc at least.
