Kawasaki Ninja in Thailand
Ninja 250 Engine Capacity - 250cc 8 Valve. Twin Cylinder. Oil Cooled. Carb w/EFI. Fuel Capacity - 17 litres Weight - 180 kg (wet) Year Built - 2008 Onwards Max power - 32.5 hp (claimed). Until Kawasaki came up with this bike for the Thai market there were only Honda NSRs and CBR 150s to play with. The 250cc on the market really hit Honda's streetcred as for over two years nothing in the small-sports-bike category could compare until late 2010. The Ninja 250 is a great bike for learner and skilled biker alike. It's got plenty of low-down power, a great-sized fuel tank for long range touring and the track-day hounds and stunters love it. The pea-soup green colour isn't to everyone's liking though, as is the styling. However for the money as a sub-200k baht sports bike, there's not much beating it. The CBR 250 launched in late 2010 is not seen as a superior bike to the Ninja, thus it retains it's crown... |
