Touring Around Hua Hin & Cha-am

Plenty of areas around Hua Hin and Cha-am exist to be found by the able biker and traveller. The main highways may only run north or south but the smaller ones and tracks run all over the place.

Bang Saphan

A real gem of a place that avoids the hordes of tourists that cram Hua Hin each weekend is Bang Saphan.
The small fishing town, is low-key, yet popular with local expats who have tired of Hua Hin.

Chumpon

Further south from Hua Hin is the province of Chumpon. The main city here is the gateway to Koh Tao, Koh Samui and Ko Pha Ngan. It's a busy city and a bit souless and barren if you peer beneath the surface but ok to stay a few days.

If you're heading from Bang Saphan it's not too far and after a short journey south on Highway 4 from Bang Saphan Noi you'll soon pick up the signs for Chumpon City.
