Route Tours Ranong

Ranong lies at the crossing ground between Burma and Thailand. North and South is the winding Highway 4 which will take you to Chumpon and beyond lies Hua Hin.

If you head north, prepare for some challenging mountain roads (see above video) before you reach the relative ease of Chumpons terrain. To the south or Ranong is Krabi and beyond it lies Phuket.

Around Ranong city, heading east, are the Hot Springs and Canyon.

Getting to Ranong

Being about 420 km from Bangkok means about 4.5 to 7 hours drive time. A distant airport operates flights out of the city but this is usually on an infrequent basis.
