Dirty Dog & The Teako-Lasio Wars

Well we all knew it would happen sooner or later.

One of the low-lifes we've named and shamed has decided to try and take us on.

Different to the others though is that this one has his own website. Allegedly (according to Dirty Dog, the leader of TD) it is more popular than Thai visa, although the last time I checked w w w t e a k d o o r c o m is only Page Rank 2. Sorry Eric, but for a website that is nearly five years old PR 2 is nothing to write home about. The name and shame article already covers his exploits but we'll speak a bit more of them here

Most of the con-artists and cheats tend to skulk off muttering veiled threats. Not our friend Eric though! Not only has he spread lies and slander on other forums that aren't true but he's now 'coming after us'.

I guess we'd best start building the sandbags and sealing the hatches eh?

On teakdoor Eric and his cronies typically go into a little secret area and have a good slagging off there enemies, this includes us, Divinglore and The Last Forum. But that's ok cause we just do the same on TLF. We're kinda like crazy feuding rival families in the Italian Renaissance. The Teak Door crew are like the teako's and the Last Forum crew are like the Lasio's, but without the Romeo and Juliet part. All was well until we learned of the truth behind Dirty Dog (Eric) and his stealing of teak door and his unprovoked betrayal of family privacy to one of the members of TLF.

So the wars raged on between the Teako's and the Larios. We've stepped in to help out our ally TLF and are now in the thick of it. He's not alone but has a few of his cronie friends helping him too. Well I guess even a sad old man like that needs some of the hollow folk to buddy up to on the internet.

The truth is readers, Eric Potter (or is it Plumber) is a keyboard warrior, a walter mitty type who will spend nearly 24 hours a day trawling through website's, trolling, looking for any information to obscure references and url's to use against those who have exposed him or are in competition. There's more than one of us so I guess he's got xx amount of years on his hands to try and check. Sure, he may find something, but the last time I checked somebody viewing another persons lies on the internet doesn't cause us any harm.

Then in an act of bravery he'll start off a blog under the pretence of being an official on the road thailand / Diving Lore (sister site) blogspot. The content takes the form of baseless lies and (if he can get it) the names and addresses of loved ones. Sure, he can probably even obtain addresses of every member of OTRT. The only problem for our would-be exposers is that all of us at DL and OTRT are expats in Asia and don't have any ties to our home countries. We don't even have a fixed address in Thailand as most of us live in surrounding countries anyway and just commute in and out when need be!
So Watch Rider, for example, could appear to be a be Joe O'Mally who is 36 and lives in rainy N. Ireland and (according to Eric) we're all convicted paedo's on the run from the law, hiding out in Thailand.

Hmm, all of us on OTRT and DL are pretty normal, young guys who go with the girls. Instead of refuting the allegations against him (namely theft and slander) DD wants to create these amazing lies and fantasies! If it wasn't such a serious allegation it would almost be funny!

Sure, he may find *something* like a old address, but the last time I checked somebody viewing another persons old address on the internet doesn't cause us any harm. Hell, even a current address where one of us lives isn't really a cause for concern. Unless he's got an army of killers willing to go to jail for murder / assault I guess we can sleep tight.

So if any of you good folks see an oddly named blogspot with outrageous pornographic / pedophilic / vile content about Watch Rider, Diving Lore, On The Road Thailand etc. Rest assured that Dirty Dog aka Eric Potter and his cronies are up to their usual tricks and (pathetically) trying to bring down both this website and our sister website (Diving Lore).

You heard it here first. The name and shame for Dirty Dog is currently frozen. Lets face it, it's Xmas and even us hardened expats aren't one to fight out the wars / conflict during what's supposed to be a time of partying and friendship. Dirty Dog has sent us a message that it means nothing to him (the ceasefire) and continues to attack. Still, I guess old, bitter and twisted criminals like him are destined to for a life of misery and self-loathing?

LATEST NEWS: Watch Rider recently sighted Dirty Dog being transported in to begin the assault on OTRT HQ.

Our armories have been notified and the mice are on stand-by!

Johnny and the rest of the On The Road team are signing off for about a week to go party and enjoy ourselves. We've got some ripping trips and expeditions planned for the new year and will be publishing them when we get back!

If the website's are in ruins and Dirty Dog and his merry men are flying the TD flag when we get back... well it's been a pleasure making these columns and good while it lasted!
