Requiem For Bikers

In Memory Of Our Fallen Biker Brothers

In Thailand riding a bike can be as much as twice as dangerous as in the western world.

Too few drivers think about bikers in daily traffic. Erratic pull-outs and aggressive driving all play their part in making life on the roads that bit more 'on-edge' than usual.

Riders must also take heed of their vulnerability.

A rider is vulnerable.

Compared to a car a MC has more difficulty in evading sudden obstacles such as a bad road, branches or animals

Car accidents have a mortality rate 1 in 20%.

Biker accidents have 1 in 60%.

Because of our size motorcycles seem further away.

Riders often brake on the engine which does not make the brakelights flare up.

Crashbarriers can become lethal instruments in a high speed crash, aka Guillotines and leg-slicers.

Slippery roadmarkings on wet roads can amount to a complete loss of control.

Look, twice, save lives, motorcycles are everywhere.

In memory of our fellow riders...
